Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Striking Web (operated by Vero Scale, ABN 95 987 726 537), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Services Provided

Striking Web Design provides professional web development services including but not limited to:

• Custom website design and development
• WordPress development
• Static site development (Astro, Svelte)
• Website optimization and speed enhancement
• Technical support and maintenance

3. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due as specified in your service agreement. A deposit of 50% is typically required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Payment terms will be specified in your invoice.

4. Delivery and Revisions

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines and may vary based on project complexity. The number of revisions included varies by package tier. Additional revisions may incur extra charges as specified in your agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you will own the final deliverables created for your project. Striking Web Design retains the right to display work in portfolio and for promotional purposes. Third-party assets (fonts, plugins, images) may be subject to their own licenses.

6. Limitation of Liability

Striking Web Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Communication

By using our services, you agree to receive communication related to your project via email and any other channels we establish. We will not share your contact information with third parties.

8. Cancellation Policy

Projects may be cancelled before work begins with a full refund of any deposit. Once work has commenced, cancellation terms will be assessed based on the stage of completion. Completed work will be billed at the agreed-upon rate.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
